Ruby on Rails presentation at Cluj Technical University

On Tuesday May 15th 11:00 AM Codemart will give a presentation about Ruby on Rails at the Technical University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The presentation provides a technical introduction into the fast-growing application framework and showcases the building of a small demo application.

The talk is part of an event between 15th and 17th May organised by the Technical University where IT companies are given the opportunity to present their offering and expertise and communicate directly with students.

Ruby on Rails is a web application framework, released in 2004, that aims to increase the speed and ease with which database-driven web sites can be created and offers skeleton code frameworks (scaffolding) from the outset. Often shortened to Rails, or RoR, Ruby On Rails is an open source project written in the Ruby programming language and applications using the Rails framework are developed using the Model-View-Controller design pattern.
